Prestigious Fellowship awarded by British Academy
Chris Armstrong has been awarded a prestigious Mid-Career Fellowship by the British Academy, to run from October 2012 until October 2013.
With a success rate of less than 15% competition was fierce, but Dr Armstrong is delighted with the opportunity to work on an area of increasing interest within political theory: global justice and natural resources.
Just who, from the point of view of justice, should have rights over natural resources? What principles should govern the management of precious resources like the rainforests? How can we best secure people's human rights to key natural resources like freshwater?
The Fellowship will allow Chris to write a monograph and a series of papers on these important issues.
