Dr. Stuart Turnbull-Dugarte has recently published a piece in the Washington Post's Monkey Cage website. Stuart, alongside Phillip Ayoub (Occidental College), Zein Murib (Fordham University) and Gabriele Magni (Loyola Marymount University) wrote about the Trump campaign's "Pride Rally" and why the campaign is trying to win over LGBTQ voters.
The post brings together Stuart's two main research agendas, focusing on the political preferences of LGBTQ voters and the behaviour of radical right-wing political parties. His most recent journal publication on this topic was published in the Journal of European Public Policy.
