Offer Conditions
All offers made are on the condition that you pass DBS and Occupational Health checks.
Without completing the above steps you will not be able to meet the conditions of your offer, even if your exam or qualification results are known. Until you have met all the conditions of your offer (and your offer becomes "unconditional"), you will not be able to enrol on your course.
JULY
For applicants studying Access courses or other vocational courses where your school/college does not provide your results directly through UCAS you will need to ask them to confirm your results to us once they are known. To do this, please ask your school/college to contact the Admissions Team directly at: AdmissionsUG.ELS@southampton.ac.uk .Unfortunately we cannot accept the results directly from you unless you have your original certificate.
You can visit the University during the Open Days taking place in July. This is a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with the campus and its facilities and to ask any questions you may have before you start your programme. To book a place please visit our Open Days information page.
AUGUST
Thursday 15th August 2019 is A Level confirmation day. All students studying A Levels this year will find out their results on this day and the University will automatically receive these results. You will be able to find out if your place with us is secure by checking your UCAS track. Even if you achieve the required examination results your offer will only become "unconditional" if you have met all the other conditions of your offer e.g. returned your DBS certificate, been given Occupational Health Level 1 clearance etc. Once your offer has become "unconditional" you will receive an email asking you to enrol with us. Remember to check in your email spam box. Once you have enrolled you will be able to view your timetable once it is released, have immediate access to lecture and seminar information and be ready to start on your first day.
If your offer is still showing as "conditional" on UCAS track and you are unsure what conditions are outstanding, please contact the Recruitment and Admissions Team on ugapply.fhs@southampton.ac.uk to investigate this.

NHS Bursary
You can apply for your NHS Bursary via the Bursary Online Support System (BOSS). There is no need to notify us once you have applied.
Once you have started on the course, we will notify NHS Bursaries and you will normally receive your first bursary installment within 10 working days.
