Patient & Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE), register your interest.

This form will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

We invite you to join our valued network of patients, carers and members of the public who are interested in healthcare research and innovation.

We work across the Wessex region. By registering you agree to be sent information about involvement opportunities as they arise. They might include the following:

- Responding to surveys or questionnaires
- Attending focus groups, workshops, events
- Being an active member within research groups
- Evaluating and reviewing documents
- Helping with research funding applications as a co-applicant

You can choose to withdraw your involvement at any time by emailing our PPIE Officer Sonia Newman at s.newman@soton.ac.uk

Your information will be kept securely by our PPIE Officer.  Your details will not be shared with any third parties unless we have first obtained your permission. We will only retain your data for as long as you wish to continue as one of our Public Contributors.

To make sure that we are involving a wide range of people, we ask you questions about your general experience and background (including ethnicity, gender and education). It would help greatly if you could answer these questions and provide as much information about your interests as you can, so that we can better match you to opportunities when they arise.
