The Primary Care Research Centre seeks to support development of staff at all career stages with a particular focus on the needs of Early Careers Researchers, who are our future research leaders. Early Careers Researchers are integrated throughout our Centre and also have their own group with its own active seminar and support programme (REACH – Research Education Advice and Communication in Health).

REACH provides a forum for staff to share and discuss common research interests, address training needs and provide a supportive environment for members to discuss issues arising from their work.

As well as monthly lunchtime meetings REACH hold annual training retreats. The retreats enable in depth discussion of key concerns, planning for the coming year’s activities and permit extended training in transferable skills.

For further information about REACH please see their website  and to view their seminars please click here. You can also contact them at reach@soton.ac.uk
