Target Audience: level 4 and above

This half day workshop explores how to be a mentor and how to set up a successful mentoring relationship. It looks at the key attributes of being a good mentor, the roles & responsibilities of both the mentor and mentee, and what is required to build a good mentor/mentee relationship.

By then end of the workshop participants will have a good idea of what is involved in a mentoring relationship and have had some practical experience of key mentoring skills. Participants will then be able to decide whether they wish and feel suited to, becoming a mentor at the University.
