SitePublisher - Introduction to SitePublisher CMS

Target audience: Users who have been given responsibility for maintaining content on University websites using SitePublisher.

Brief outline: To introduce the user to using SitePublisher for the maintenance of existing University webpages.

Notes: This session is only made available to staff who have been nominated by a site owner and given responsibility for managing content on a SitePublisher site

What you can expect to learn:

• The potential benefits of using a Content Management System
• The different TeamSite SitePublisher roles implemented by the University
• The publication cycle for pages in TeamSite SitePublisher
• The process for editing existing content in TeamSite
• The process of submitting changes for approval
• The ‘General Content Webpage’ template and its components
