Stand and Deliver: Giving Presentations


Target Audience: Research Staff

Brief Outline: What is at stake when we make a presentation? Often our own reputation, as well as that of our work. Audiences typically base their assessment of a speaker less on what they say than how they say it. This practical course explores what makes an effective presentation, and how we can speak so our audience wants to listen.
