Enabling Change Event

We are all living in a world of change and our ability to navigate it successfully will determine the extent of our success.  Building on the eLearning module Understanding Change, Enabling Change is designed to strengthen your ability to manage and lead to effectively enable change with your people.  Providing a range of tools, frameworks and techniques it will support you to communicate change messages, identify and resolve potential conflict, support others through change and enable you to articulate a plan of action for your area of change.

Enabling Change Workshop Objectives:

• Understand what we mean by change management and what is driving change here at Southampton
• Know how to recognise the impact of change in others
• Understand how you can enable yourself and others to navigate change effectively
• Develop strategies to overcome resistance to change
• Create a plan with specific actions from your learning that you will apply to your change
• The Understanding Change eLearning module is a prerequisite to the Enabling Change workshop.
