Developed with a large academic team from Ocean and Earth Sciences, along with colleagues from the National Oceanography Centre and Professor Jon Copley and Dr Verity Nye as lead educators. Learning resources included footage shot on board a research ship and from a 'Octocopter' flying drone. This MOOC is now being used to support first-year Oceanography students studying at Southampton.
