Alex is a Research Fellow working within the Centre for Clinical and Community Applications of Health Psychology (CCCAHP) at the University of Southampton.

As a member of the LifeGuide team, his work involves developing, delivering and assessing online interventions aimed at promoting behaviour change in the context of public health. Current projects in which he is involved include promoting self-management of type I diabetes (DAFNEplus) and facilitating healthy behaviours to prevent cognitive decline in cognitively healthy older adults and those with cognitive impairments (Active Brains).

Before joining the University of Southampton, Alex completed his PhD in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Bristol. His broad interests lie in the bidirectional relationship between the brain and behaviour.
