Dr Klair Norman is an Academic and Profesional Tutor within Psychology at the University of Southampton. Klair teaches some of and coordinates all of the academic input for the third year trainees on the three year doctorate in Educational Psychology.

Klair completed her first degree in Psychology and also her Masters in Educational Psychology at the University of Southampton. She also holds a PGCE from Kingston University and a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from University College London.

Klair is currently an HCPC registered, practising educational psychologist, employed by Portsmouth City Council, who is seconded to work as an Academic and Professional Tutor on the Doctoral Programme in Educational Psychology two and a half days a week. Her research and specialist interests include the regulation of attention and working memory in learners, reading development, positive psychology approaches for Social, Emotional and Mental Health and nurture groups.
