Sebastien is a Senior Research Assistant at the Centre for Clinical and Community Applications of Health Psychology, at the University of Southampton.

He is currently working on the RECON/Active Brains project team, which is developing a digital intervention aimed at reducing and preventing cognitive impairment in older age groups.

He is also nearing completion of a PhD in Health Sciences, titled ‘An investigation into cortical activity associated with robotic upper limb rehabilitation after stroke’.

In previous roles, he worked on developing LifeCIT, a digital intervention aimed at improving upper limb function after stroke through a programme of Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT). Sebastien also has significant experience working clinically as an Occupational Therapist with people with orthopaedic and neurological conditions in various contexts.
