Training professionals

CBT is a highly practical, client-centred therapy, and we recognise the importance of bringing this practical aspect into our training. At the same time we stress the value of drawing on evidence-based research to underpin clinical decisions. Many of the tutors are themselves highly qualified, active practitioners, and can bring a wealth of local knowledge into the classroom and supervision sessions.

The majority of activities take place at 34 Bassett Crescent East, an Edwardian-era house set in its own tree-lined grounds, a few minutes' walk from the main University campuses.
