Study support

While you are studying for a professional development qualification, you are a registered student of the university of Southampton.

Access to the University network

You will have the University's full range of support available to you.  Academically, each course has a Director, plus a number of University-based and visiting tutors, who will be able to assist with any queries within their remit. On the full Certificate and Diploma courses, clinical case supervision is delivered in groups of no more than three students.

There are dedicated course administrative staff at 34 Bassett Crescent East. Other staff are based at Psychology's main site, Shackleton House (B44) on Highfield Campus.

For the duration of your course, you will have a network ID, giving access to a range of campus- and course-related information and services. The University's IT services group ('iSolutions') have a telephone and online helpdesk to assist with any issues here.

The majority of the University's wider student-centred services are located in the George Thomas Building (B37) on the Highfield Campus. This includes, for example, help with finding short-term accommodation for block release modules, and support for students with disabilities.
