The Psychologist’
. In the essay Laurie reflects on studying psychology at Southampton University. He describes how his initial expectations were surpassed by a more varied and fulfilling experience, that he acquired many transferrable skills, and, importantly, how he ‘learned a new style of thinking’, specifically appraising information critically.
