Speaker information

Dr Mirona Gheorghiu ,Lecturer, School of Psychology, Queens University, Belfast. "What pervades most of my research interests (and my interest in research) is a concern with the impact of culture and politics on individuals’ attitudes and behaviours as well as their relationships with others. I have been preoccupied in particular with the national and political cultures of the former communist countries of Europe as manifested, for example, in individuals’ trust in others and their political institutions.
