I am currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Southampton on a Jubilee Scholarship in the School of Psychology. My main research interests are in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
Researching ADHD resources for teachers in primary education.
My PhD research is focused on the development of teacher training resources in Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder.
I work as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant in the School of Psychology, facilitating seminar delivery, demonstrating, marking and administrative work. I also joined the organising committee for the Psychology Postgraduate Conference in 2020. I am particularly interested in encouraging postgraduate students to think about the impact of their research and work on social impact projects and events for postgraduates across the University.
I worked previously in the charity sector, supporting disengaged adolescents to re-engage with education and employment. The program was a vocational CBT-skills based course, which I adapted for use with teenagers and young adults. I am a qualified teacher for post-compulsory education and completed my MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at the University of Edinburgh.
