Public Policy|Southampton is delighted to be celebrating its 10 Year Anniversary in the academic year 2022/23, marking a decade of work in policy engagement. The department was formed within the research environment of the Faculty of Social Sciences but has since grown to become its own Professional Services team as part of Research and Innovation at the University of Southampton. From here, the team works actively across the University to deliver its mission statement of enhancing the sub-national, national and international public policy impact of research conducted by both staff and students to address major societal challenges.
Towards the end of November, Public Policy|Southampton will be holding a flagship event at John Hansard Gallery titled The Changing Culture of Policymaking. This will take the form of a panel discussion with distinguished guests from various backgrounds, each sharing their own perspective on the aforementioned theme.
