Professor Stephen Holgate, Medical Research Council Clinical Professor of Immunopharmacology and Honorary Consultant Physician within Medicine, chaired the Panel that undertook the update of the ARRIVE (Animal Research: Reporting of In Vivo Experiments) guidelines. The ARRIVE guidelines are aimed primarily at scientists writing up their research for publication and those who are involved in peer review.
