In February 2021, join UK Parliament’s Knowledge Exchange Unit to: • Share your lived experiences of inequality in existing parliamentary processes and the barriers you have faced in contributing expertise to Parliament • Contribute ideas on how the UK Parliament can support researchers with disabilities to engage with Parliament

UK Parliament is holding these online discussion groups because they know that researchers with disabilities are under-represented in engaging with the UK Parliament, based on both statistical and anecdotal evidence. They want that to change.

The discussion groups are open to all from the research community; they are aimed particularly at academic researchers who have engaged with or thought about engaging with Parliament, as well as those working in knowledge exchange roles (research impact, policy brokerage, knowledge mobilisation, research development etc). Contributions at the discussion groups will shape the work of the UK Parliament Knowledge Exchange Unit.

The groups will take place on 18th, 23rd and 24th February 2021.

This activity is part of ongoing work to support more diverse and inclusive engagement between UK Parliament and researchers, from Parliament’s Knowledge Exchange Unit.
