A joint workshop organised by the Universities of Southampton and Newcastle and the Food Standards Agency. Guy Poppy (Chief Scientific Adviser, Food Standards Agency) will discuss ‘The AMR Challenge and the UK’s lead role in the international response’. Tim Leighton (University of Southampton) will explore ‘NAMRIP – Southampton’s pioneering cross-disciplinary network response to the global challenge of AMR'. Alex Hughes (University of Newcastle) with Neil Wrigley, Michelle Lowe, Emma Roe, and Bill Keevil (University of Southampton) will examine ‘Corporate food retailers, meat supply chains and the global responsibility of tackling AMR’
