The conference will be held in the Shakleton building (B44) which is on the main Highfield campus. A campus map is provided on the right of this page.

Air

Southampton airport is well connected with major UK and European cities via FlyBe.

Rail

Good connections run between Southampton and all major cities. A direct train to and from Gatwick is also available at certain times.

Bus

The National Express bus service runs frequently between many of the southerly cities and both major London airports. The service picks up and drops off at the main campus, only 200m from the symposium venue. The Mega Bus service may also be a cheaper alternative.

Car

Should you choose to drive, parking is available at the accommodation venue but permits for parking on campus will need to be purchased on the day of arrival.

Travel in Southampton

Once here, you will stay very close to the university so much of your travel would be best done on foot. The Uni-Link buses run every 20 minutes between halls, university and the city centre.
