Special Considerations

Special Considerations

Special considerations are exceptional circumstances outside of a student’s control, that have or will have a negative effect on their performance in a recent or upcoming assessment (including an exam) or on their ability to meet a deadline for submission of an assessment or to sit an exam.

Special considerations requests are governed by the Regulations Governing Special Considerations (including Deadline Extension Requests) for all Taught Programmes and Taught Assessed Components of Research Degrees.
