Centre Sponsors International Conference on Gambling and Risk Taking

The Centre for Risk Research are to be proud sponsors of the 15th International Conference on Gambling and Risk Taking that will take place from 27th - 31st May 2013 at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Gambling and Risk Taking Conference will showcase the latest research from academics and cutting-edge trends from industry leaders. The event will provide the opportunity to bring together international experts to examine and analyse gambling from a wide range of perspectives.

Several members from the Centre for Risk Research will be attending the conference to present their latest research. The research, conducted by Professors Johnnie Johnson and Ming-Chien Sung, and Doctors Tiejun Ma, David McDonald and Stefan Lessmann explore topics such as forecasting the outcomes of sporting events, herding behaviour in financial markets, and understanding price movements in betting markets.
