Young Adulthood - aspirations and realities for living and learning in the 21st Century
Ann Berrington (PI) with Steven Roberts (Co-I, University of Kent) have been awarded funding of £181,695 to look at Young Adulthood - aspirations and realities for living and learning in the 21st Century.
Funded under the ESRC Secondary Data Analysis Initiative, the project will investigate how UK young adults' transitions to independent living and housing pathways have responded to recent social change including the expansion of higher education, economic recession, and the increased unaffordability of housing. The policy relevant research will utilize a number of resources including Understanding Society and the English Housing Survey.
