"A Bayesian spatiotemporal model to estimate long-term exposure to outdoor air pollution at coarser administrative geographies in England and Wales"

S3RI Researcher invited to deliver a journal Webinar by the Royal Statistical Society

S3RI member Prof Sujit Sahu will deliver a journal webinar on Wednesday February 21 at 3PM based on his recent work, "A Bayesian spatiotemporal model to estimate long-term exposure to outdoor air pollution at coarser administrative geographies in England and Wales" jointly written with Sabyasachi Mukhopadhyay. This paper develops novel methodology on spatio-temporal modelling and more importantly publishes about 64GB of high quality air pollution estimates for England and Wales which are currently being used by many researchers interested in estimating long term exposure to air pollution and also estimation of their health effects.

The webinar will be chaired by Prof Richard Chandler of University College London and discussed by Prof Jonty Rougier (Bristol University).
