Mr Ben Mason
Postgraduate Research Student

Teaching Fellow in the Department of Social Statistics and Demography at the University of Southampton
I am the module co-ordinator for one of our undergraduate modules, Introduction to Quantitative Methods, run by the Department of Social Statistics and Demography within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
My main research interests are in estimation of missing items in cross-national, time series data sets. After completing a Master of Physics degree in Theoretical physics in 1999, I embarked on a career in computer modelling and programming, later moving into project management.
I returned to higher education in 2009 to complete an MSc in Social Statistics, which I completed in 2010. I am currently an MPhil candidate in Social Statistics and expect to complete in 2017.
