Dr Cécile Guillaume, Reader in Employment Relations, University of Roehampton Business School will give an research seminar on the litigation strategies of British and French trade unions on 18th Nov 1-2pm. Dr Cécile Guillaume is Reader in Employment Relations in the Business School at Roehampton University. Her research interests lie in the area of discrimination and gender equality in employment relations, trade unions and the workplace. She mobilizes gender as a key concept to reflect on union participation, to discuss the under-representation of women within the trade union movement and to question policies and legal mobilizations led by unions to fight gender discrimination. Recent research has investigated trade unions’ rights mobilization to advance equality, using legal or non-legal repertoires of action.
