Ms Monica Fenn RGN

Research Nurse

As a nurse, Monica has gained experience in many different areas of adult care. Training in Southend-on-Sea she returned to the Isle of Wight to raise a family before developing a specialist role in allergy and asthma after joining The David Hide Research Centre, gaining 12 years of research experience. She then went to hospitals in Birmingham and London as a Clinical Nurse Specialist before joining the Research and Development team here at Southampton in December 2013. She worked on gastrointestinal research initially, transferring to Multiple Sclerosis research in 2015.

 

Working with Ian and his team is a joy and I feel very privileged to share time with our research volunteers.
