Zack White, PGR Editor of Romance, Revolution and Reform, wins Doctoral College Award
Many congratulations to Zack White (PGR, History) whose energy, vision and hard work in founding and setting up our online journal Romance, Revolution and Reform has won him a prestigious Doctoral College Director’s award for services to Citizenship and Community. The Director’s Awards are part of the Festival of Doctoral Research which recognise and celebrate the exceptional achievements and contributions of the University’s doctoral researchers. The Awards were presented at the Festival of Doctoral Research closing reception on Thursday 23 May by Professor Chris Howls, and Vice Chancellor, Professor Mark Spearing.
Zack is the second SCNR postgraduate student to have won this ward – last year’s winner was Jenni Scott (English) who won for setting up our lively PGR Forum.
Well done, Zack!
