Event details
We are holding this year’s Southampton Clinical Research Conference, bringing those taking research into the clinic together with the wider university and clinical community.
This conference is open to all university staff, and will give you insight into how your research could translate into new treatments, as well as major emerging themes in healthcare.
The day will begin with Prof Mike Grocott talking about climbing Mount Everest to better understand hypoxia, and how this work is driving better clinical care and surgical outcomes. The all day conference will be followed by the Faculty of Medicine drinks reception and Wade Lecture, given by the President of the British Medical Association, Baroness Ilora Finlay. To book your space and free lunch, please use our Eventbrite ticket page. Please note that spaces are limited and will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.
