The Social Impact Lab is participating in the Ryerson Social Innovation xCHANGE, taking place at Ryerson University in Toronto. The two day 'hackathon' style event will challenge students from three universities - Ryerson, Southampton and Waterloo, to create and develop social ventures around the theme of urban community building. Students from Southampton won their places at the xCHANGE by participating in the Social Innovation Challenge last November. They will travel out to Canada in late January to take part and learn more about social entrepreneurship in the city.
