Mentor, coach, counsellor and a well-being champion for the Faculty of Social Sciences at Southampton and University Professor, Sri Kandiah: Food for the Vulnerable
The Fightback: social action vs COVID-19 is a conversation series hosted by the Social Impact Lab.
We will be profiling examples from around the UK and beyond of social action in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are keen to understand what forms of new social action emerged during the pandemic, what was already occurring, and how social entrepreneurs and innovators adapted to the challenges brought by COVID-19.
From helping the vulnerable to cleaning up abandoned city spaces and providing employment, we chat with the social impact leaders themselves to find out how it all started and how others can get involved and be part of the change.
