Rozgar Dhaba

For our first episode of the year, we welcomed Vinod Pandey, CEO of Mijwan Welfare Society, who shared his work with Rozgar Dhaba, a village information exchange centre that provides information on local jobs, government schemes, health schemes and options for livelihood, and minimizes unsafe migration and unemployment. Mijwan Welfare Society is a grassroots organisation working in the most deprived regions of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in India. One of the primary objectives of the organisation is to create and sustain local livelihood opportunities. Vinod has 12+ years of development sector experience and is a social entrepreneur. He completed his Master's in Public Administration from the National University of Singapore and is a university rank holder.
