Jack worked with Enactus and the Social Impact Lab to deliver the Social Enterprise Challenge, a two day social impact competition:

"My experience of working in collaboration with Josie and Pathik was a thoroughly positive one. We aimed to create an event that would both impart new knowledge and transferable skills on a group of students that could be widely applied in the social enterprise sector and also raise the wider profile of social enterprise on the university campus, making students aware of the skills development and employability opportunities it can provide.

As a student organiser of the event, Josie and Pathik consistently encouraged me to engage fully with the event and it’s organisation, listening to and considering my thoughts and ideas with true interest and often taking them on board or pushing me to re-think them and improve.

The experience of working with the Social Impact Lab provided me with a range of new theoretical concepts. I believe that as well as personal benefits to myself as an organiser, this collaboration had wider reaching positives for the participating student group. Many of the individuals I helped mentor directly expressed how rewarded they felt by creating a conceptual enterprise they genuinely believed could make a social change".
