Dr Rob Angell BA(Hons), MSc, PhD's photo

Associate Professor in Marketing Research at the University of Southampton Business School.

I am Director of Internationalisation and Associate Professor in Marketing Research at Southampton Business School. Previously I was Senior Lecturer at Cardiff University.

 

My research interests span advertising, sponsorship and retailing, and I have a passion for quirky research methods and methodologies.

My ideas have been published in many of the top journals in the field, including: Journal of Retailing, Harvard Business Review (HBR), Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research, Plos One, European Journal of Marketing, and more. I am a co-author of two Routledge anthologies (one on humour and advertising, the other on the future of managing food).

My passion is truly teaching and students and I have won many teaching awards, including the 2020 SUSU Most Engaging Lecturer Award.
