Wellbeing Chats

Need Immediate Support?
A conversation
Wellbeing Chats are an opportunity to meet one-to-one with an advisor

Looking for advice and guidance on how to improve your wellbeing? Whether that is because you are experiencing personal or emotional difficulties and feel uncertain about what to do next, or if you want to learn about ways to improve your wellbeing to enhance your University experience. We can provide the time and space for you to talk with one of the team and explore options for support.

Our aim is to help you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the Wellbeing Chat. We may explore some self-help resources together, complete some questionnaires, or explore strategies that other students have found helpful.

You can visit us for a Wellbeing Chat at a time that suits you, and you can choose to meet with an advisor in-person or over the phone.

The Student Wellbeing Team are available 24/7 and can be contacted via The Student Hub on 023 8059 9599.

If you would like to meet with a member of the team in person, come to the Student Hub in the atrium of B37 (see map). You will be greeted by a member of staff who will introduce you to one of the Wellbeing Advisors. We have private rooms for the Wellbeing Chats, where the advisor will introduce themselves and discuss how the Wellbeing Team might be able to help you.
