I studied for my Master's part-time over two years while working, my employer supported me and gave me a day off a week to come to University.
The variety of modules was impressive. Some, like transport modelling and planning, related directly to my day-to-day work, others gave me completely new insights. Improving my knowledge of statistics was also very useful. Through my postgraduate studies, I wanted to understand and keep up to date with new developments in the global transport system because in my job we tend to focus on what’s going on in the UK.
