Hi, I'm Jamie Hudson and I am studying within the Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute, University of Southampton.

I graduated with a first class honours in MSci Marine Biology from the University of Southampton in 2015. My masters thesis looked at how humans can alter species distributions, which is continued with my PhD. My PhD enables me to take a multidisciplinary approach to my research, making the project accessible to numerous fields.

My PhD enables me to take a multidisciplinary approach to my research, linking ecological, genetic, and climate data together. This holistic view of my study system makes the project accessible to numerous fields. My supervisors are Dr Marc Rius (Ocean and Earth Science), Dr. Mark Chapman (Biological Sciences) and Dr. Patrick Osborne (Engineering and the Environment).
