£1.32m to develop innovative modular hybrid marine propulsion system

Professors Suleiman Sharkh and Andrew Cruden have won a £1.32m IUK bid with REAP Systems and partners to develop an innovative modular hybrid marine propulsion system targeting the small commercial vessel market for vessels. The proposed novel system offers significant savings in fuel consumption, engine power rating, weight, emissions, noise and vibrations.
