Assessing the Underworld is pleased to announce a 1-Day Workshop: The Engineering Applications of Pipe Vibration: Meeting the needs of Industry & Shaping Future Research

The workshop is aimed at all those concerned with pipe vibration, particularly academics and those working in affected industries.

The aims of the workshop are to:

  • Showcase current pipe vibration research being undertaken both nationally and internationally
  • Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas around the problems facing industry and other relevant organisations
  • Provide an environment where collaborations can be developed to meet the needs of industry and other key stakeholders
  • Plan out future programmes of work

It will be particularly relevant to those concerned with the problems of:

  • Leak detection and pipe condition assessment
  • Remote pipeline detection, location and identification
  • Vibration control and mitigation
