Admiral Sir George Zambellas: "The Future of Naval Aviation"
This lecture will focus on the future of naval aviation, in both operational and technological prespectives.
For this lecture, we are expecting a high turn out due to the speaker and the nature of the topic. Although the lecture itself is a free of charge event, we need to keep track of numbers due to a limit on the capacity of the Turner Sims Concert Hall. If you would like to attend the lecture, you can obtain lecture tickets from Mrs. Jayne Angland (AFM/ANTS/Astro, Level 5, Tizard Building 13) and Gjermun Holm (2nd year Aero/Astro undergraduate).
Speaker information
Admiral Sir George Zambellas, First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff, the Royal Navy. Admiral Zambellas is a distinguished alumni of our very own Aeronautics and Astronautics who went on to forge an extensive career within the Royal Navy in various aspects of its operations, from frontline duties to training and planning for the future. Admiral Zambellas has been incumbent in his current position since April 2013.
