Self-Management VOICED: outcomes that matter

National survey

A national survey to explore consensus and difference

Background and Aim

The national survey will draw upon data from phase two, talking to stakeholders, and will map the areas of consensus and disagreement between stakeholder groups in terms of:

  1. The conceptualisations of self-management
  2. The outcomes of self-management considered important.

Method

The survey will undergo a four phase process (maximum) whereby participating individuals will be asked to state their level of agreement with a given statement. After each round, statements will be refined according to responses and sent back to participates who will be asked to rate their level of agreement with the altered statements. This process will occur a maximum of times, at which point the survey will end and the results collated.
