Hi, I'm Elizabeth Springer and I studied BSc Applied Social Sciences (General Pathway) within Social Sciences: Sociology, Social Policy & Criminology at the University of Southampton.

I liked the security of knowing that the University of Southampton was a Russell Group university and had a good reputation.

I chose to study at the University of Southampton because I liked the campus, the way it was set out and all the greenery that was inbetween the buildings. I also liked the security of knowing that it was a Russell group university and had a good reputation.

There were lots of things I enjoyed about studying at Southampton! I liked the diversity of the course and how there was scope to follow your own interests. I also liked that the support from the lecturers and tutors was so personal and available for all sorts of problems. I enjoyed the mixture of people and how the university as a whole was geared towards really helping and giving students the best experience possible.

I have achieved many things as a result of studying at Southampton, I was able to give back to my course and my tutors by being a member of the Staff/Student Liason Group. I joined a choir that then elected me as President for my last year and gave me some very valuable opportunities as well as allowing me to enjoy myself. I also achieved a better understanding of my own ideas and abilities and feel that coming to the University of Southampton was an experience I will never forget and that has become an important starting point for my future achievements.
