Hi, I'm Nick Hayles and I studied BSc Applied Social Sciences (Anthropology) within Social Sciences: Sociology, Social Policy & Criminology at the University of Southampton.

I am certain that my time of Southampton has developed me into the well rounded character I am today!

Q: Why did you choose to undertake your studies at the University of Southampton?

I chose to study at Southampton because I wanted a university experience situated in a city and also Southampton is one of the top ranked Universities in the UK and the wealth of brilliant facilities that it offers.

Q: What did you enjoy about studying at Southampton?

I completely enjoyed my whole university experience. The highs of great essays and celebrations would not have had the same value without knowing I had put all the hard work and time into achieving the results. I feel that my time at Southampton has not only provided me with a very strong academic qualification, but that my degree path in Anthropology exposed me to a wealth of extraordinary and insightful knowledge that made me just want to explore the discipline further and further.

Q: What have you been able to achieve as a result of studying at the University of Southampton?

As a recent graduate, I am yet to undertake my career path but I am certain that my time at Southampton has developed me into the well rounded character I am today!
