NCRM awarded a further £4.2 million of funding

Published: 10 March 2008

The ESRC’s National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) is housed within Social Sciences.

We have close links to the Centre, not just through the location of the NCRM hub, but through several members of our staff who are seconded to the Centre as Deputy Director (Professor Graham Crow) and and Co-Director (Professor Sue Heath).

The Centre, which was set up in 2004, recently received further funding of £4.2 million from the ESRC that will take it up to March 2014 and allow it to continue its work in promoting developments in research methods and their use across the UK social science community.

Students and staff across the School of Social Sciences are able to benefit from the Centre through access to training and presentations on a wide variety of developments in social research.

Further information on the Centre can be found on the NCRM website.
