Hi, I'm Anjali Dwesar and I studied BSc Politics & International Relations within Social Sciences at the University of Southampton.

I loved the diversity; you can choose from so many different modules. The lecturers were great and really supportive.

Q: What have you enjoyed about studying Politics at Southampton?

I’ve loved the diversity of the modules, you can choose from so many different modules and different schools. In the first year I did law and psychology, so it’s quite wide what you can chose from which is good. The lecturers have been great, and really supportive as well, they always help you if you need help and you can go and see them which is great

Q: Were you involved with any clubs/societies?

Yes I was part of RAG (raise and give) I was the external events co-ordinator which was really good so we had a lot to do.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

I’m looking to take a year out to go travelling and then hopefully do a masters afterwards, I'm interested in international security.
