Hi, I'm Sadie Burnett and I studied BSc Applied Social Sciences (Anthropology) within Social Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Anthropology, and the University as a whole, offers a great deal of choice in terms of the different modules you can study, which helped broaden my knowledge base

Q: Why did you choose to undertake your studies in Applied Social Sciences at the University of Southampton?

I chose to study Applied Social Sciences at the University of Southampton as it is an excellent University, has a brilliant atmosphere for study and I really loved the look of the course being offered.

Q: What did you enjoy about studying Applied Social Sciences at Southampton?

I most enjoyed starting new modules and constantly learning new things; Anthropology, and the University as a whole, offers a great deal of choice in terms of the different modules you can study, which helped broaden my knowledge base.

Q: What have you been able to achieve as a result of studying at the University of Southampton?

I've been able to achieve what I set myself out to achieve and more. I wouldn't have achieved my goals without the help and support of my lecturers and tutors.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

Studying at Southampton has given me the confidence to go out and see the world and I now intend to travel.

Q: Would you like to add anything else?

Southampton is a wonderful University, and I have had the most amazing three years of my life. I would recommend the University and studying Anthropology to everyone.
