My picture of the world is drawn in perspective... I apply my perspective not merely to space but also to time (Ramsey, 1928).
I completed my PhD at the University of Southampton following an MSc in Environmental Economics from the University of York. I joined as a member of staff in the Department of Economics in 2016. I have previously held posts at the Central Bank of Malta and as an Economic Consultant in the private sector.
My research interests are in:
- The underlying dimensions (or anomalies) influencing time and risk preferences in individuals
- The impact of external nudges on behaviour over time
- The impact of time preference on pro-environmental behaviour
- Experimental methods for eliciting time and risk preferences
